Winters Wars Competitive & Fun

What a great competitive day, so much fun. Thank you goes out to all the travelers who made the trip for a fun filled day. Congratulation Steve Charles winning the 22T kit in the raffle and Carl Fuller on your 50/50 raffle win. So much fun to watch Rob Betts battle from last place to win the β€œB” main in mod buggy and a very impressive run in the β€œA”.

The best race of the day and a special congratulations to Team Losi sponsored driver Anthony Mastino taking home the win in 17.5 buggy the best and most competitive class at Island Raceway. Incredible skill and consistency , losi is fortunate to be represented by such great, young natural talent.

And very impressive run by Andrew Parente battling back from last to 4th in mod buggy, amazing skill and control while passing the field to almost make the podium.

A very special congratulations to my friend Enoc Phillips for his first ever mod buggy Podium finish after changing from Associated B6 to Losi 22 4.0(team Seitz setup).

Congratulations to Anthony Mazzara for the Mod buggy A main win and helping everyone become better racers and continue to attract great talent to Island Raceway.

Island Raceway’s newest team driver Anthony Robles first time running eight scale in any event and Motorama being one of the biggest events in the nation Anthony Robles podiums intermediate buggy with a third place finish in the A main.

IRH team manager Anthony Mazzara taking an Amain position in all three of his classes truggy, buggy and 4wdsc competing against Pro-driver Joe Bornhurst and sharing the podium in ebuggy with team Losi teammate Spencer, awsome finish in ebuggy to take 3rd overall against the best in the east including Gunnar Rieck, Mike Gay and JR Smith.
